I’m super proud to help raise money for this organization. This year I’ve donated my Young Adult Paranormal Series: The Fated. If you enjoy Greek mythology, this series is for you–Pandora’s Box with s twist. There are a ton of terrific authors who have graciously donated as well. Be sure to check out the awesome list below.

The LIFT Auction is open for bidding!
Monday, April 23 – Friday, April, 27
Bid Here: http://bit.ly/LIFT2018Bid
It’s time! The LIFT 4 Autism auction is open for bidding until Friday, April 27, 5pm EST.
A few bidding tips
1. You must register to bid. This connects any bids you make to an email address and alerts you if someone submits a higher bid, or ultimately if you have the highest bid when the auction closes and you win.
Register, browse and bid here: http://bit.ly/LIFT2018Bid
2. US Only v. International. Before you bid on an item, please note if it is marked Domestic (US Only) or International. If you are outside the US, bid on and win an item marked US Only/domestic, the donor is not obligated to ship Internationally, and the bid will instead be awarded to the next highest eligible bid.
3. There are about 350 items up for bid. For quick reference, you can view this rough list of items, or you can browse, scrolling from page to page, or you can use the search window to find a particular item.
5. When bidding closes, the person with the highest bid at that time is the winner and will be automatically alerted at the email address they used to register.
5. Pay for your bid when you receive the notification that you were the winning bidder. Failure to pay for the bid forfeits the item to the next highest bidder.

Welcome to the first ever Pages of Fear blog hop. It’s a pre-Halloween event celebrating authors who like to fright and delight with their writing. As you progress through the twenty-eight blogs/websites, you’ll learn about authors you may already know, and be introduced to some new ones.
Everyone loves the opportunity to get something free. All of the authors have gathered together to give ONE lucky winner signed copies of their books (one per author). You may even find other types of giveaways on their sites so, keep your eyes open. While you’re looking you want to locate the secret word on each site. Make a list of the words in the proper order. When you reach the final destination (Authorsfbenson.com), you’ll find an email address. Send your list to it. The winner will be selected courtesy of random.org.
Get on your marks.
To continue the hop, please go to Cadence Rae’s (author of In Her Eyes) site: https://cadencerae.wordpress.com. Eek! I’m pumped to join so many authors in this cool hop. Anyone wondering which book I’m giving away? It is Hope’s Decree, The Fated book 1. What’s my book about? A girl born to correct the horrors released from her ancestor’s box… Pandora’s Box, to be exact. The next book, Hope’s Deceit is already out, and the last book, Hope’s Defeat is written and will have a release date from my publisher soon. Scroll down to read the full blurb for Hope’s Decree. 🙂 Thanks so much for participating! In case you missed the story and (like me) need to see each blank to fill it in, I’ve posted a copy below.

When everything else is lost, there is always hope.
While most teens want an epic senior year, Trinity Whitebone hoped for a normal one. Being seventeen was hard enough. Having the emotions of everyone around you in your head made life more than a little difficult.
Until Blain Heros enrolled.
He screamed hot-god in jeans with just his walk. His intense stare warmed her skin like a thousand suns. Unfortunately, his interest in her seemed to run from blazing to freezing in the span of moments and left her nothing but confused. She could deal with things not being normal, but when life goes from strange to dangerous…
Trinity is the direct descendant of Pandora and fated to rectify the terrors released into the world by her curious ancestor. With powers she didn’t know existed and abilities she never wanted, Trinity walks away from everything her life had become. She thought she could turn her back on her fate, until a band of rogue immortals discovers who she is and will do whatever it takes to control her powers. Trinity is left with one decision…Embrace fate or die trying.
STILL, the emotional final installment of Kennedy Ryan’s GRIP series, is LIVE!
Through thick and thin.
Ride or die.
You can count on me.The promises people make.
The vows we take.
Assumptions of the heart.
Emotion tells us how we feel, but life…life has a way of plunging us in boiling water, burning away our illusions, testing our faith, trying our convictions.
Love floating is a butterfly, but love tested is an anchor.
For Grip and Bristol,
Love started at the top of the world
On a Ferris wheel under the stars
But when that love is tested, will they fly or fall?

Today is the day! I’m so stoked and happy to share author buddy, Jodie Larson’s, latest release: Notes From the Past. This book is so great. The lead guy, Myles, is a jerk and his blast from the past, Taylor, brings him down a notch or two. Love. It! Check it out today 🙂
I love women.
And it’s easy to see why. Being the lead guitarist for the country’s hottest band, Lightning Strikes, has them practically jumping into my bed and walking out the door just as quick. Which is perfect for me. Emotions complicate things, and I don’t do complicated.
Sure, I was in love once, and it was great. Then it was gone. That’s when I vowed never again. Life is better without empty, broken promises.
After five years of hard work, sacrifices, and determination, everything I’ve ever wanted is in my grasp: a successful career, touring city after city and being accountable to no one.
Then she starts appearing in the crowds. The girl I once loved, and who walked away.
Only, Tatum Mitchell wasn’t just any girl; she was my girl.
Will she be the wedge that drives the last part of my heart away, or will she break down the walls I’ve built? We’re connected through the lyrics of our heart and the notes of our past, but is that enough?
Hey all! I hope everyone is having a great day so far 🙂 Along with announcing the winner of last month’s giveaway, I wanted to share some of the latest romance books I’ve enjoyed. I’ve been reading more paranormal here lately, but I’m leaving a variety of books, so maybe you’ll find something new in the mix!
Eek! Now let’s get on with who won a signed copy of Interception and the cool book sleeve crafted by my friend Ashley with SewChic!

February Book Recommendations!
This. Book. I can’t give enough praise for A Court of Mist and Fury–this is book 2 just so we are clear. Sarah J. Maas has moved to my top 10 favorite authors, and this book is THE top 2017 read so far! The story grabbed me from the start, and I seriously didn’t want to stop until I was done. Romance, on man!!! If you find yourself rooting for the bad guy, like I often do, then this book will hook you. Gah! There are action, twists, and turns, and did I mention romance? Yeah, so it’s a slow-build romance, but oh my word is it worth it.
Be sure to start with book 1, A Court of Thorn and Roses! …so many things happen in book one, which makes it a great story, but book 2 is what really made me a fan of Maas.
Sexy, hot-headed leading man Collin paired with a feisty leading lady Addison, and you’ve got yourself one hell of a read. I think the publisher compared this to Three Men and A Baby–which is what really got my attention. I loved the friendship the three former Marines shared, and the love they had for Chloe, Collin’s daughter. There’s just something about men taking care of a baby that makes me feel all warm inside. So, Reckless Hearts is a fast read and had I not had plans the entire weekend, I would’ve finished reading it in one sitting.
For a debut novel, I was super impressed with Curic’s ability to reel me in and keep me interested. I’m a sucker for sports romances, obviously, so I had high expectations. Glad to say I wasn’t disappointed. Eva is witty, funny, and a little broken. Rob is goofy, hot, and even though he knows what he wants, circumstances get in the way. Two smart people are drawn to the other yet can’t seem to see what’s right in front of them? Yeah, roller-coaster of awesome right there. I haven’t read book 2, Second Down because I’m waiting for book 3, Third and Long to come out, but I’ll keep you posted!
So… I read this book after reading ACoMaF, and while the story was slow to start, I ended up enjoying this book for what it is: A Young Adult book. I thought the story was sweet and clean, and I’d allow my 14-year-old (if she enjoyed reading) to read it. It’s a nice, relaxing story.
Love is a risk worth taking ~The Siren, Kiera Cass
More Books to Check Out on Goodreads ❤
Other books I’ve enjoyed are:
A few friends and I did a group read of The Dark Elements Series by Jennifer Armentrout: White Hot Kiss, Stone Cold Touch, and Every Last Breath. My expectations were high because I absolutely fluved The Lux Series, and while no one has yet to live up to Daemon Black, Roth, The Crown Prince of Darkness did one hell of a job keeping me interested 😉
Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa. This is a New Adult Paranormal Romance that I think fans of Sarah Maas would enjoy. Strange Hymn, Book 2 comes out later this year!
For those who enjoy a lot of spice in your life, I did get to enjoy an early read of Smutty Little Secrets by Vivienne Hunt.
