When everything else is lost, there is always hope.
Most teens want an epic senior year. All Trinity Whitebone hoped for was a normal one. She is the direct descendant of Pandora and fated to rectify the terrors released into the world by her curious ancestor.
Blain Heros is the sworn guardian created by Zeus to protect Trinity. His mission is to train her to defend humans against Pandora’s curse. For Blain, training a mortal for battle is impossible. For Trinity, taking orders from an overbearing immortal whose touch leaves her dizzy, is hopeless. But with each passing lesson, frustration and confusion give way to an electrifying bond.
Together they are a force to be feared, only defending humans against an ancient curse isn’t the only threat in the world anymore. A band of rogue immortals is hunting Trinity because her power is key to unleashing an unholy darkness into the mortal realm. As the war between light and dark brews, Trinity vows to fully embrace her fate–or die trying.
*The final book in The Fated trilogy is coming out soon*

In the end, light may not be enough to outshine the darkness.
After Melia’s near-fatal attack, the connection binding Trinity and Blain shifts, allowing a dark force to wedge them apart. Her only hope for the life she craves is stopping Melia and her gang of Rogues.
Too bad life never plays fair. As Trinity’s eighteenth birthday draws near, new abilities manifest. More problems occur when objects around her spontaneously erupt in flames. While Trinity tries to manage her new powers, Blain works with Watchers to root out Melia’s hiding place. Unfortunately, Trinity’s uncontrolled talent evokes suspicion, causing old friends to challenge her ability to fulfill her destiny.
Havoc between the immortals ensues, leaving mortals unprotected as a new threat surfaces. Melia found a way to awaken an ancient god, whose wrath–if released–is sure to create more devastation than Pandora ever dreamed of. Everything about Trinity’s life is changing, except her vow: Keep those she cares for safe.
But fate always has an ulterior plan.
Born and currently residing in Texas, Angela works as a nurse during the day and an author by night. She’s addicted to cleaning, coffee, and fuzzy socks. When not spending time with her husband and their three children, working or writing, she’s reading a good book or listening to music.

Hope’s Decree:
I couldn’t feel anything.
My whole freakish life I’d desperately wanted to shut out the surge of emotions I often felt from others. But this empty vacancy was out of place and wrong.
Off to my right, something flickered. I turned to look, and in the distance, a flash of light caught my attention. I watched, transfixed as it expanded and molded into the solid figure of a man. Curiosity or stupidity–not sure which–drew me toward him. With each step, my insides stirred, a desperate need beckoning me.
I made it close enough to see his coal black hair and broad shoulders before his image blurred and disappeared. Maybe I should have run, or at least tried, but an inexplicable force held me still. Now he stood behind me. I tensed as his massive arms wrapped around my waist.
His hold liberated my mind from the numbing loss of feelings, and fear pressed against me. Within him, profound fragments of greed and hate surged. But it was what those demented feelings led to that frightened me. A siege of war and bloodshed unlike the world has ever known.
Fear and terror spread through me like fire. I began to shake and my stomach rolled with nausea. His unbreakable hold suffocated the light inside of me and the darkness emerged.
Hope’s Deceit
Waking up every morning to Blain and his skillfully, mind- blowing kisses definitely made starting the day easier. Those lips
of his had a way of making me forget the outside world. His clean cotton and fresh-out-of-the-shower scent clung to him like static, and I couldn’t get enough. The feeling of comfort and safety while wrapped in his arms enveloped me, and the terrible images that startled me awake earlier faded away.
Melia being a Rogue and nearly killing me was frightening. But seeing the black orb attack Blain was a whole new level of terrifying. He seemed okay, though. God, I hoped he was okay.
Blain inched back, definitely far enough to see redness spread across my face, and grinned. His stare, the desire and need held there, made my pulse race. “God, you’re beautiful,” he said, stroking a thumb across my cheek.
His tender touch burned through me. The familiar buzz danced along my skin, and the colors from our power–white and gold– followed the sweet caress.
“This is my favorite part, the pink across your cheeks and knowing I put it there.”
I smiled. “Mine is definitely your lips.”
In turn, they kicked up in a sinful smile. The single butterfly in my stomach multiplied into a swarm. The clear blue in his eyes darkened, and he brought his mouth over mine.

*Excerpt*

A few feet away, a man appeared, though he looked more or less the same age as me. Tall, well built with chestnut hair stopping at the hard angle of his jaw, and his eyes as black as a raven’s feather. He didn’t look like the same person from my nightmares. Not that it mattered–his presence still terrified me.

His lips twisted into a sinister grin, a mixture of evil and pain so clear I could taste it on my tongue. I tried to ease my panic and think clearly, but just like in my nightmares, I was losing.

“Who are you and what do you want?” Much to my surprise, my voice stayed even.

“You don’t know, do you?” He tilted his head to the side, watching me with amusement in his dark eyes. He slowly held a finger in the air and then began making circular movements. The motion created his own personal whirlwind, lifting the hair around his face.

He continued to walk toward me, controlling the wind with his finger. My panic increased; my insides felt like they were being stretched thin, ready to snap in half at any given second.

“What do you want?” This time my voice quivered at the end.

“You have got to be kidding me, right?” He shook his head. “This is easier than I thought it’d be.” He must have read the perplexed look on my face because he started laughing–hard. I would’ve been offended had I not been so freaking scared.

His thoughts and emotions become stronger with each step he took, overpowering my ability to shut off the inner darkness wanting to be set free. I wasn’t sure which way was up or down, left or right, and it didn’t matter.

Blain’s kiss started nice and slow. His hand slid down my side, finding the edge of my shirt, along with a bundle of feelings I shouldn’t be exploring just yet.

My heart thudded in a staccato-style rhythm. More heat rushed over my skin like a furnace.

I didn’t want to stop. Didn’t want to think about what Melia’s next move may be. Silently, I wished that her army of Rogues, and all the other obstacles in our way, would disappear.

We’d almost lost each other during the near-fatal fight with Melia. Death gave a person a sense of perspective, and living in the moment, with Blain, was the only place I wanted to be.

“Stop worrying,” Blain said against my lips, then pulled away. “Right now is about me making up for being a jerk, and for not doing more of this sooner.”

I wanted to let it go. So bad, but the spinning wheel of thoughts in my brain refused to slow down. “What if Melia sends her Rogues after us? We should probably get a few workouts in, so I’m better prepared.” A spike of terror tugged at my insides.

“You’re right, we need to get you better prepared. But first I need to do a full body inspection. Make sure all your parts are workable,” he said, pressing his lower half into me.

Before I could reply, he skimmed his tongue across my lower lip, dissolving whatever smartass comment was about to come out.

I granted him access, and the worry of Melia’s attack faded. A clear image of Blain filtered in–the sexy, lone-dimpled grin he’d given me over a dozen times. Private moments between us were few. Losing myself with Blain… his touch, his lips, his everything, turned my bones to mush.

If only the bliss could’ve lasted longer.

The somber memory of yesterday, Blain’s life nearly lost, all still too real. The awareness created an empty pit in my stomach. Within seconds, the daydreamed effects of us together and safe shattered.

My body stiffened. Thank goodness Morpheus barged in before Blain caught on that something was wrong.

“Knock, knock.”

Blain’s wandering hand on my stomach froze, and his lips stopped moving. Resting his forehead against mine, a growling sound deep in his throat emerged. “I should’ve let you take him out,” he said, frustrated.

I smiled. Regardless of what was going on, knowing the effect I had over Blain kinda rocked. Strike that, it totally kicked ass.

Blain sighed. “Please tell me the reason you’re in my room is because you’ve found Melia and destroyed her. I’d really like to get back to spending time with my girlfriend.”

There’s more, Gypsy Love is part of something bigger, but those details are still under construction. Should have more to share soon! However, I’ll leave you with a teaser. Enjoy ❤

Now on to my 5 Alien Star review of Adrenaline by Sunniva Dee!

Holy shit this book is amazing! Sunniva totally outdid herself with Adrenaline! This story is golden! I mean you feel so much: Passion, Raw Emotion, Humor, Sadness, and Love. Man, love and heartache drips from every page! Cam is playful and totally reminds me of a big teddy bear. He’s not extreme sports, like jumps without thinking. He scared the crap out of my a few times. Ingela is so freaking funny! She’s from Sweden and her English slang is so off at times you can’t help but laugh your ass off. Together these two steam up the page. Their chemistry is off the charts, but so is Ingela and Bo…. Enter another hottie! There isn’t really a love-triangle here, but, um, yeah. I can’t give anymore details or it’ll give the entire book away. Sorry, charlie 😉 You experience so many highs and lows, but it’s worth every bit of your time.

So I always relate my stories with songs, and two came to mind while reading Adrenaline: Florida Georgia Line’s Sipping On Fire (Cam’s song) and Taylor Swift’s Style (Bo’s song)! I’ve added each video below ❤

CAMERON

Life’s the shit!
Chicks squeal over how wild and yummy I am, play their silly games trying to tie me down. But I’m free as a bird, doing what makes life life: kicking extreme-sport-ass!

I base jump, snowboard, bungee jump. I do anything for the rush.

Then, Ingela blows into town for college—a cool Swedish blast of trouble. Foulmouthed and runway-gorgeous, the girl seeps in like poison and melts the freaking brain.

To Ingela I am what chicks were to me: pastime, leisure, entertainment, pleasure. She’s killing me, and I’m digging it. There’s a new rush in town! Yeah, I hunt down my highs, and now the chase is on. I’ll catch her soon enough, just, what’s the deal with her ex?

Florida Georgia Line’s Sippin’ On Fire

Firm breasts Adrenaline teaser

BO

With Ingela, sex is a dance. A slow tango where skin flows over skin. It is slick readiness, a quiet welcome. It’s smooth, warm, right, and all wrong.

On and off. On and off. Again, she’s wrecked with grief. It’s a reminder of how I destroy her, how crushed relationships shouldn’t be revived.

We’ve done this for years, now, but clearly we’re in for more.

Secret Project and Reading News

Secret Project and Reading News

Okay, I have a secret project a friend and I have been working on and it is DONE! OMG, I can’t believe we did it, which is reason for my being absent last week. I’ve also finished reading a few books and started another: Summer Confessions, Adrenaline, Love Always, Damian, Fractured Energy and just started Sublime Wreckage. Reviews to come soon 🙂

This weekend I’ll be in Dallas, TX at… wait for it… wait… the AMC awards! Holy crap am I excited. Not only will my husband and I enjoy two nights of concerts with the awards show following on Sunday, but we’ll get to spend it ALONE without kiddos. We’ve NEVER done this. I feel like we’re teenagers or something. Crazy! The kids are mad that Mom and Dad get to watch Blake Shelton live. My girls have begged me to leave their dad with their brother so they could go instead… so not happening. I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures while there! Eeeeeeeek!

Book News

I don’t have a definitive date, but the word is that HD2 will release sometime in September. Holy crap, right! I can’t wait, I mean like I’m so freaking excited to get this to y’all. In case you missed the short (not approved by editors) teaser on FB, here it is again.

“You wouldn’t need luck if you had me with you.”
His smile fell and his eyes clouded with anger. “I don’t have time to argue now. Just… please.” He closed his eyes. “Morpheus, keep her safe.”
“Sure thing, sugar plum.”
I whipped around and glare at the big lug then turned back to Blain. “So I’m back to being babysat, huh?”
Blain invaded every boundary and kissed me, but way too fast, he broke away and sped out the door. In a flash he was gone.

So, what’d y’all think? I didn’t ask if I could share, but after going over this section, I just HAD to 😉 Lot’s of steamy things happen when Blain returns.

Hope's Decree eBook

When everything else is lost, there is always hope.

While most teens want an epic senior year, Trinity Whitebone hoped for a normal one. Being seventeen was hard enough. Having the emotions of everyone around you in your head made life more than a little difficult.

Until Blain Heros enrolled.

He screamed hot-god in jeans with just his walk. His intense stare warmed her skin like a thousand suns. Unfortunately, his interest in her seemed to run from blazing to freezing in the span of moments and left her nothing but confused. She could deal with things not being normal, but when life goes from strange to dangerous…

Trinity is the direct descendant of Pandora and fated to rectify the terrors released into the world by her curious ancestor. With powers she didn’t know existed and abilities she never wanted, Trinity tries to walk away from everything her life had become. She thought she could turn her back on her fate, until a band of rogue immortals discover who she is and will do whatever it takes to control her powers. Trinity is left with one decision…Embrace fate or die trying.
